Project Lead The Way

In the school year 2019-2020, Williwaw became the only elementary school in Alaska to implement Project Lead The Way. Students attend Launch twice a month to learn about engineering, biomedical and computer science processes with hands-on activities.  Our Launch class helps develop independent problem solving skills and promotes collaboration and teamwork.  During Launch students learn as they go; it is a student led program where students are in charge of their own learning.  Our goal with Launch and Project Lead The Way is that our students will develop those critical life skills they will need to be successful in life.
